Santa may come once a year, but this year we delivered Christmas three times!

 

Working alongside McArthurGlen over a 10 week period we conceptualised, project managed and implemented two Christmas Concepts across three locations. Both indoor and outdoor.

 

Cheshire Oaks and East Midlands Designer Outlet required outdoor installations. A German market inspired festive area was created at both locations. Basic food and beverage huts were installed and we lovingly turned them into apres ski lodges. The huts were clad with faux stone and timber log roll to create a Swiss chalet style. Indoor seating areas were dressed with faux fur, wooden deer heads and lanterns. Outdoor seating was made from real tree trunks, and the surrounding area was dressed with Christmas trees, festoon lighting and decorations. We branded the concept ‘Apres Shop’ and used this across all signage, menus and promotional material.

 

Swindon Designer Outlet has an impressive glass atrium called the heart, which annually houses a huge Christmas tree. Our indoor concept was to install a festive market around the Christmas tree. We designed and commissioned 5 metal framed houses for festive retailers to use. Within each house, we included a selection of retail display units and furniture along with a fireplace to create a cosy environment.

 

We branded the concept ‘Christmas from the heart’ and a festive pattern and typography was created and used for signage and dressing to the display furniture. Promotional material and signage was also created and used to advertise the market throughout the centre.
