The Belt Maker

– BRAND IDENTITY

– KIOSK DESIGN
– INSTALLATION

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet appointed us to rebrand and reposition an independent trader in their Swindon location.

The brief was open and the client had no real brand presence but what he did have was a fantastic craftsmanship that wasn’t present in his current retail unit and brand. We capitalised on the customer experience, where you can select your leather, buckle and The Belt Maker then crafts these into a handmade belt for you. We renamed ‘World Belts’ into ‘Greens The Belt Maker’ using the clients name with typographic style that hinted at the heritage of his trade.

The retail unit was to be positioned in a key location within the central route through the designer outlet with great footfall. The design of the space represented the positioning with a look and feel of a victorian industrial workshop. We used reclaimed timber, rusty steel work and leather to achieve this. We created a central work station to showcase the craftsmanship.

What the client said…

I just wanted to drop a quick message to say a BIG THANK YOU.
Thank you for taking the time to understand my business and the way in which it operates. The Pod that you have developed looks absolutely fantastic and is a huge benefit to my business.

I would also like to comment on the professional way you conducted the whole project from start to finish.

All in all well done and thank you.

Kind regards
