McArthurGlen Christmas 2016
This is Christmas v2.0.
Last year we undertook our first crack at branding, and designing a retail Christmas event for McArthurGlen Designer Outlets. So we were delighted to build on last years success and make Christmas 2016 bigger and better. After the disappointment of Trump and Brexit, we thought we would end the year on a high!
For the East Midlands Designer Outlet, we created a new theme, named the event and created an identity – ‘The Winter Woodland’. In which we installed a ‘Grill in the Woods’, private heated ‘snugs’ outdoor seating, Santa’s grotto and obviously a snow covered magical woodland.
Also capitalising on the success of Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet’s Christmas event, we were commissioned to reuse last years concept of ‘Apres Shop’ and make better use of the space.
We made more undercover seating, as this was the only downfall with last years terrible weather. So we extended the ‘Apres Bar’ with bench seating, doubling the capacity and included 4 heated ‘snugs’ with blankets, faux furs and cushions for people to take a rest from the chaos of Christmas shopping.
